Tortilla Pizza
Ingredients:
low carb tortillas
melted butter
garlic
pizza sauce
cheeses
|
meats
mushrooms

Preparation:
I have been "needing" a pizza fix and finally found something that does it for me! Use on low carb tortilla (3 effective carbs - 12 carbs minus 9 fiber) brush with melted butter and spinkle with garlic and toast until crisp. I use one tablespoon of pizza sauce (1.8 carbs) and then layer on cheeses, meats and mushrooms. Put all this under the broiler to melt the cheese and then eat! YUM! I usually have this with a cup of salad. Very filling. I have used pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, spinach. I have also substituted alfredo sauce for the pizza sauce and it tasted more like a foccacia.
