Taco Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp minced onion
- 1/2 tsp cumin

- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 pkt Equal or other sweetener
- 1/3 tsp ground oregano Lettuce
- shredded cheese
- sour cream

Preparation:
Brown 1lb ground beef in skillet (drain fat...or not) Add: 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp paprika 3/4 tsp salt 3/4 tsp minced onion 1/2 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 pkt Equal or other sweetener 1/3 tsp ground oregano Mix well and spoon onto bowlful of lettuce. Top with shredded cheese and sour cream. (This recipe, to me, needs more salt, so taste the burger after you mix it all up with the spices and salt more to your taste.) (I make this and my hubby eats half and I eat half..it's very filling and you don't need anything else to go with it. 1/2 recipe= 5.5 carbs)
