I am going scuba diving for Thanksgiving and seeing old friends on the trip that I haven't seen in 6 years.

I decided to start Kimmers and get in shape for the trip. So far I have been on it for two days and have lost 3 pounds overnight and I can tell my waistline is much smaller.

I love this diet because the results are so fast and the plan is so easy.

Today is day 4 and I am down two more pounds. yeah!

I was at a very nice dinner party last night and tried a few appetizers and I still lost a pound overnight.

I am going to stick with it until I get back to my goal weight. If I can limit myself to the salads and grilled meats, I think I'll lose the rest easily and quickly.

I had just been eating way too many carbs and I just can't do that.

When I get too complicated with my meals, I seem to stop losing and start gaining.

What is the plan? Also, did you go to the plan from induction, or owl or just regular, non-dieting eating?

Kimmer's is basically just meat and eggs for 3 to 5 days, then you go to the 1975 Beginning Atkins between the 3 day meat and eggs.

Look at Coasty's thread in this section. It is called Kimmers (m/e) July 24-30. ( or something like that) and she has all the details of what to eat. it is real simple and I lose very quickly on it so it keeps me motivated.

Do you count calories?

Also, where are you when you start it? (Dieting or not dieting?)

I don't count calories and i usually start from a week of eating too many carbs, so it gets you really motivated to stay on Atkins or other low carb plans.

I did this and lost weight, but I also found it really messed up the roll I was on. I have been stalled ever since I did Kimmers. Don't know if they correlate or not just my experience.

Time to get serious again! Time to hit the water with my scuba tanks in November and live in a bathing suit for 11 days. Good thing the bathing suit stretches. :D I need to lose some weight before I go, so a couple of days of kimmers just to get started again.
